CS 413 - Supervised Student Teaching
Observation and supervised practice teaching in early childhood and childhood settings arranged to meet the requirements of the initial certificates in Early Childhood and Childhood in New York State. Lesson planning for content areas: English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. Required weekly seminar. (Grade of 2.8 or higher required for a student to be recommended for New York State Certification). Prerequisite: Approval of Recommendations Committee. One semester in the schools: 20 days in grades 1-2 and 20 days in grades 4-6, 4 credits.
