POL 351 - History of Political Thought A critical survey of the history of political thought from classical times to the current and contemporary period. the course highlights the works of selected political thinkers, e.g., Plato, Locke, Marx, Che Guevara, and proponents of neoliberal and neoconservative thinking, relates their ideas to the political, social, economic, and cultural environment in which they arose, and assesses their respective significance.
Prerequisite:POL 102 or POL 103 or POL 205 3 credits Spring
