SOC 243 - Criminology

An examination of sociological concepts, theories, and perspectives regarding the study of crime. Topics include: the amounts and trends of crime; theoretical explanations; policies of crime control.

Prerequisite: SOC 100  or SOC 133  or SOC 136 
3 hours a week 1 semester 3 credits.
