NU 690 - Primary Care Nurse Practitioner II
In this Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) course students collaborate with faculty to determine the diagnosis and management of commonly occurring acute and chronic health problems across the young adult, adult and geriatric populations. This course will critically appraise the use of standards of care and clinical practice guidelines to assure safe, evidence based care. Students will develop skills in diagnostic reasoning and clinical inquiry at the advanced practice level. To promote a culture of collaboration, students will explore interdisciplinary consultation.
