NU 691 - Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Clinical II
In this clinical experience, Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) students collaborate with faculty and preceptors to diagnose and manage acute and chronic health problems across the young adult, adult and geriatric populations. In this experience students will critically apply standards of care and clinical practice guidelines to assure safe, evidence based care in adults with acute and chronic illness. To promote a culture of collaboration, students will participate in interdisciplinary consultation. Students will continue to develop skills in diagnostic reasoning and clinical inquiry at the advanced practice level.
1 semester 1 credit.
Clinical of 175 hours.
