Area of Concentration for Child Study Majors: 30 Credits

The department offers two areas of concentration for Child Study majors. Concentrations in Sociology or Social Science consist of 30 credits. Child Study majors will choose their courses in consultation with the Department of Social Sciences and their academic advisor.

Sociology

SOC 100 - Introductory Sociology 3 credits. or
SOC 133 - American Society 3 credits. or
SOC 136 - Social Problems 3 credits.
8 elective courses 24 credits.
1 @ 300-level 3 credits.
