The mission of St. Joseph’s College is to provide a strong academic and value-oriented education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, rooted in a liberal arts tradition that supports provision for career preparation and enhancement.
With the option of a business or health emphasis, this 12 credit certificate is designed to improve supervisory and managerial effectiveness. Through selected courses and a case-study orientation, the participants will learn to apply prominent theories and practices in employee management and development to commonly encountered problems and situations.
Courses taken for the Certificate in Leadership and Supervision may be applied toward the B.S. in Organizational Management, Community Health and Human Services, Health Administration, General Studies, Business Administration (available through Undergraduate Studies), the 15 credit Certificate in Human Resources, or the 28 credit Certificate in Management.
